New Christian Artworks

I just recently finish three new paintings for the Family Living Room at Smith Springs Church of Christ in Antioch, Tennessee.

Grape vine Christian Art by Rita Ford

The Vine
24 x 30
acrylic on canvas

"The Vine" portrays a sturdy vine growing with branches bearing fruit. The scars on the vine reveal the work of the Vinedresser pruning dead wood.

This painting is inspired by the verse John 15:5.

“I am the vine and you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing.”

Christian Art Bible Reading by Rita Ford

The Precious Book

30" x 40"
acrylic on canvas

The portrait is of a teenage girl who attends our church reading the Bible.

It is inspired by one of my favorite hymns “How Shall the Young Secure Their Hearts?" By Isaac Watts which was inspired by Psalm 119:9

How can we stay pure? Living according to Your Word.”

Christian Art Child Prayer by Rita Ford

A Child’s Prayer

30 x 40
acrylic on canvas

There is nothing more precious than a child’s prayer.

This portrait is of a young member of the church at Smith Springs.
